Valve terminal 2 Series, 12x 5/2-way single solenoid, G 1/8 top-ported, IO-Link - E.MC

With its integrated IO-Link module, this valve terminal works decentrally, close to the cylinders. 12 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves on a 16 mm pitch switch at 1.5 to 8 bar.

Advantages

• Straight to the IO-Link master: bus connection M12, A-coded, port class B, power via M12, no output card needed in the controller.
• Ports within easy reach: the G 1/8 outlets sit on top of the valves, easy to get at during commissioning.
• High flow per station: effective area 16.2 mm² (Cv 0.9) on a pitch of only 16 mm.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
• Long service life: at least 40 million cycles, aluminium body and spool, NBR seals.

Applications

• Multi-axis sequences with up to 12 cylinders supplied centrally from one valve terminal
• Assembly and packaging machines with mid-size cylinders that need more flow per valve
• Decentralised valve terminals right at the machine, connected to a free port of an IO-Link master
• Layouts with little room to the side, where the tubes leave upwards
