Valve terminal 2 Series, 10x 5/2-way single solenoid, G 1/8 side-ported, multipole D-sub - E.MC

E.MC supplies this SV series terminal (2 Series) fully assembled with 10 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves. For 10 actuators it needs nothing more than a G 1/4 air supply and one multipole cable.

Advantages

• One connector for all coils: 25-pin D-sub that swivels through 90° for a vertical or horizontal cable exit.
• Swap valves without touching the tubing: the G 1/8 outlets are in the sub-base, the valves are changed from above.
• High flow per station: effective area 16.2 mm² (Cv 0.9) on a pitch of only 16 mm.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
• Long service life: at least 40 million cycles, aluminium body and spool, NBR seals.

Applications

• Control cabinets or machine frames with a DIN rail, connected to the PLC through a pre-assembled D-sub cable
• Installations with frequent valve changes, where the tubing should stay connected during a swap
• Multi-axis sequences with up to 10 cylinders supplied centrally from one valve terminal
• Assembly and packaging machines with mid-size cylinders that need more flow per valve
