Union nut for cutting ring, tube 38 S, stainless steel 1.4571

The union nut presses the cutting ring onto the cone of the stud as it is tightened and so holds the tube in the coupling. In addition the sheet lists a temperature range of -60 to +400 °C. Its rating is a working pressure of 315 bar. The version is listed with heavy series.

Standards and conformity

Before assembly the stud thread and cone, the inside of the union nut and the cutting ring are oiled. Thin-walled or soft tubes need a reinforcing sleeve.
