When a sub-circuit of a machine has to run at a steplessly adjustable pressure, a proportional pressure reducing valve takes over that control. The DREM10-6X/315YMG24K4V in size 10 reduces the pressure from B to A in line with the command value signal and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar.

Application

The valve holds the pressure in clamping, pressing and gripping circuits at the value set by the controller, for example when workpieces are pressed with changing force. Because the command value arrives electrically, the pressure can be changed during a running cycle without anyone adjusting a knob by hand. The amplifier electronics are installed separately and connected to the valve through the 3-pole connector.
