Applications

In industrial plants running an open circuit, a speed-controlled fixed displacement pump increasingly replaces the combination of variable pump and unregulated motor, because the drive draws less at part load and runs more quietly. The 2-hole mounting flange 127-2 to ISO 3019-1 and the geared shaft end follow the standard, so existing attachments still fit. With special fluids the permitted operating pressure drops to 220 bar, which has to be allowed for in the design.
