Elastomer expansion joint, flange connection DN50-PN16 (DIN/EN), bellows in NBR

In use, the expansion joint takes up length change, lateral offset and angular deflection of the pipe run and damps structure-borne noise. It is produced from NBR. The data give a face-to-face length of 125 mm and a flange outside diameter of 165 mm. In addition the data give the DN50-PN16 (DIN/EN) flange connection.

Benefits

• Nominal size DN 50 on flange connection DN50-PN16 (DIN/EN) at a working pressure of -1 to 16 bar.
• Axially the bellows takes 35 mm of compression and 10 mm of extension.
• Lateral offset up to 15 mm and angular deflection up to 25 degrees.
• Bellows in NBR with a synthetic fabric carrier, permitted up to max. +90 °C.
• Face-to-face length 125 mm at 16 mm flange thickness and 165 mm flange outside diameter.
• Steel flanges that turn on both sides make it easier to line up the hole patterns during installation.

Applications

In heating and cooling circuits the bellows in NBR takes up the length change of 35 mm.
