Maintenance units and components
The Aventics Series NL4 comprises compressed-air preparation components built as filter-pressure-regulator valves (FRE). These devices combine particle filtration and pressure regulation in a single body and stabilise the working pressure of downstream pneumatics. The range covers more than 141 items with various port threads and configurations.
The filter elements typically work with a defined filtration grade to remove particles and condensate from the compressed air. Variants differ in thread size, gauge version and drain type (semi-automatic or automatic). The NL4-FRE serves as a modular preparation stage within air service units.
Filter-pressure-regulator valves of the NL4 series are installed at the inlet of pneumatic systems to clean compressed air and bring it to a constant working pressure. They protect valves, cylinders and tools against particles and pressure fluctuations and can be combined into air service units.
