CEJN safety coupling socket, R 1/2" male thread, 7.6 mm nominal bore, zinc-plated steel, 16 bar

With R 1/2" male thread and an actual nominal bore of 7.6 mm this CEJN safety coupling socket fits into existing compressed air systems rated up to 16 bar.

Benefits

• The plug is released only once the residual pressure has dropped below about 0.3 bar, which prevents hose whip.
• Flow rate of 2250 l/min at 6 bar inlet pressure and a maximum pressure drop of 0.5 bar at an operating pressure of 0 to 16 bar.

Applications

Typical locations are assembly lines, test benches and workshop ring mains where hose lines have to be disconnected under pressure.

Compatible with Rectus (25, 26, 1600, 1625), TEMA (1600), CEJN (320), JWL (520, 530, 560), Legris (25, 26), Parker, Prevost, Festo, IMI-Norgren (238), Aventics and many further German makes. For the plug side the manufacturer recommends coupling plugs made of hardened steel.
