Where a workpiece has to be detected without electrical sensors, a spring rod valve provides the matching pneumatic signal. The elastic rod can be deflected from any direction, so parts that are not precisely guided are still detected reliably. At 6 bar an actuating force of 0.05 N is sufficient, which means light and delicate components are not damaged. The port is closed at rest and only the deflection connects inlet and outlet, releasing up to 76 l/min. Operating pressure ranges from 2 to 10 bar and connection is made through M 5 threads.
Benefits
- Response force of only 0.05 N at 6 bar protects sensitive workpieces
- The spring rod can be deflected from any direction
- A flow rate of 76 l/min covers signal lines and compact cylinders
- Operating pressure of 2 to 10 bar matches standard air service units
- Purely pneumatic design without auxiliary power or electronics
- Use from -10 to +60 °C with filtered compressed air
