About Double hose fittings

Double hose connectors join two hose ends into one continuous line without any thread. The group is rated to 16 bar working pressure and 90 °C medium temperature. Both ends slide onto the barbed shanks and are secured with clamps.

What matters when choosing

• The hose size given is the bore and it is the axis the configurators in this group are built on. It has to match the inner diameter of the hose in use or the clamp will not seal.
• Material brass CW614N or nickel-plated brass CW614N. The plated version suits damp surroundings and anywhere bare brass is a problem visually or chemically.
• Max. working pressure of 16 bar applies across the group. Where line pressure exceeds that, use a screwed union rather than a barbed connector.
• Max. medium temperature of 90 °C together with the ambient temperature limit sets the hot water range. These connectors are not intended for steam.
• Overall length L1 decides how much hose is pushed on at each side and how much room the joint needs inside a duct or clamp.
