Digital thermometer, CTP1500, display, -50°C to 250°C, immersion sensor 170 mm, Ø 6mm, incl. 3.1 certificate The all-purpose CTP1500 digital thermometer, for superior mobile temperature measurement, is notable for its precision, flexibility and ease of handling. Through its high accuracy of ±0.05 °C in the range of -20 to 180 °C this instrument can also be used as a reference instrument in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and food industries. The CTP1500 is thus ideally suited for all service and maintenance tasks. Thanks to its handy design, the instrument can easily be taken anywhere in order to carry out quick tests in the system. The paperwhite display leads to a battery life of approx. 500 hours in continuous operation. For the safe transport or storage of the instrument, a protective bag is available as a useful addition, in which the instrument can be stored safely. This is available for instruments with a probe tube length of up to 300 mm. For each temperature probe, the accuracy is certified by a acceptance test certificate which accompanies the instrument. On request, a DAkkS calibration certificate will be provided for this instrument.

About Digital thermometers

Digital thermometers are portable hand-held instruments for temperature checks where no permanently installed gauge is fitted. The CTP1500 works with a 6 mm immersion probe, covers -50 to 250 °C and is supplied with a 3.1 inspection certificate to EN 10204, tested at 0, 50 and 100 °C.

What matters when choosing

• Probe length: 170 or 300 mm. The probe has to be immersed deep enough, otherwise it also measures the vessel wall.
• Display range: -50 to 250 °C. The ambient temperature of the instrument itself is limited to 0 to 50 °C.
• Calibration certificate: the 3.1 certificate with three test points is included and is required for audited measurements.
• Power supply: two AA alkaline batteries, around 500 operating hours.
• Housing: impact-resistant ABS plastic. A matching carrying bag is available as an accessory.
