Large pump units have to circulate without pressure at start and during breaks, otherwise every minute costs energy. The pilot operated pressure relief valve DBW52 in size 52 handles both, limiting system pressure to 315 bar and switching to unloading through a built-on directional valve, at up to 2000 l/min.
