In a plant located in zone 1 or zone 2 the pressure cut-off has to work without ignition sources and still take its setpoint from the controller. The DBET-1-6X/315G24XEJV does both: it limits pressure proportionally to the command signal up to the 315 bar rating and carries an Ex TR type examination certificate.

Applications

The valve is used in hydraulic power units for chemical plants, paint shops and offshore installations, where the location itself forces an Ex approval. A typical duty is limiting the pressure of a pump circuit whose ceiling the controller resets for every process step. As a pilot stage it also sets the pressure of a pilot-operated main stage valve.
