5/3-way air operated valve, exhaust centre, G 1/4, pilot ports 2x G 1/8, 590 l/min - YPC SFP4403

If an actuator must be free of force without a pilot signal, it needs an exhaust centre. The YPC SFP4403 then vents both cylinder chambers and keeps the supply port closed. It is controlled through two G 1/8 ports, with a flow of 590 l/min.

Advantages

• Purely pneumatic actuation with 2 to 8 bar pilot pressure, no electrical energy is needed at the valve.
• Oil-free operation: no lubrication required, if lubricated use ISO VG32 oil.
• Body and spool in aluminium, NBR seals, pilot section in glass fibre reinforced polyamide.
• Effective area 19.0 mm² according to YPC, same body style as the SF series solenoid valves.

Applications

• Medium bore cylinders in fixtures and feeders with G 1/4 lines.
• Control of pilot-operated check valves that close once the lines are vented.
• Cylinders that must be moved by hand without force when no pilot signal is present.
