5/3-way solenoid valve, closed centre, G 3/8, 1600 l/min, 24 V DC - YPC SF5303

The YPC SF5303 is a 5/3-way solenoid valve with closed centre. Without a signal it holds the actuator where it is, because no air flows in or out. With G 3/8 ports and 1600 l/min it suits medium sized cylinders. The 24 V DC coil draws 2.1 W and runs straight from a PLC output.

Advantages

• Spring-centred position with all ports blocked, switching time 35 ms max at 5 bar.
• 22 mm solenoid coil, insulation class F, with 3-pin DIN connector rated IP65.
• Up to 3 Hz switching frequency with a voltage tolerance of -10 to +10 %.
• 32 mm valve width keeps valve banks narrow as well.

Applications

• Stopping a cylinder in an intermediate position, for positioning or set-up.
• Direct control from 24 V DC digital outputs of a PLC.
• Holding loads when the control signal drops briefly.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil for 24 V DC is available separately and can be changed without opening the pneumatic circuit. For banks of several valves YPC offers the MF5500 manifold with 2 to 12 stations and a common supply through G 3/8.
