5/3-way solenoid valve, closed centre, G 1/2, 2500 l/min, 12 V DC - YPC SF6303

To stop a cylinder between its end positions, this 5/3-way valve blocks every port in its centre position. Air is trapped in both chambers and the piston stands still. Springs centre the spool as soon as neither solenoid is energised, and flow is 2500 l/min. The 12 V DC coil suits battery-powered equipment and small controls running on a 12 V supply.

Advantages

• Body and spool in aluminium, NBR seals, pilot section in glass-fibre reinforced polyamide.
• 2500 l/min at 5 bar and an effective area of 50.0 mm², with G 1/2 on every port.
• Response time 35 ms max. at 5 bar, switching frequency up to 3 Hz.

Applications

• Stopping a motion on emergency stop or power loss without venting the cylinder.
• Rotary actuators that have to stay in an intermediate position.
• Intermediate stops of double-acting cylinders, for example when positioning lift tables.

Accessories and spare parts

A matching replacement solenoid coil for 12 V DC is available separately and can be changed without opening the pneumatic circuit. Several valves can be grouped on SF6000 series manifolds with 2 to 10 stations, sharing a common G 1/2 supply and exhaust.

According to YPC the SF6000 series carries the CE mark and complies with RoHS.
