5/2-way solenoid valve, double solenoid, bistable, G 1/8, 590 l/min, 115 V AC, standard connector - YPC SF2200

The SF2200 is a bistable 5/2-way valve with two solenoids. A short pulse on either solenoid sets the switching position, and the valve then holds it without continuous current, even if the control voltage fails. At 5 bar up to 590 l/min pass through the G 1/8 ports. The 115 V AC coil fits control circuits that run from a 115 V control transformer.

Advantages

• The last switching position is kept on power loss, so the cylinder does not run back on its own.
• Switching time of 25 ms max. at 5 bar and up to 5 Hz switching frequency for short machine cycles.
• 18 mm body width and a 15 mm coil, so several valves can sit close together.
• Oil-free operation, no lubrication required. If the air is oiled, use ISO VG32.
• Coil without polarity, insulation class F, removable, drawing 4.5 VA at 115 V AC.

Applications

• Cylinders that must stay in their last position after a power failure, for example on lifting doors or grippers holding a part.
• Controls with pulse outputs where the coil should not be energised permanently.
• Machines with a 115 V control circuit, where the valve connects to the existing voltage without a converter.

Accessories and spare parts

The replacement solenoid coil, type L for 115 V AC, is available separately. The valve uses two of them. Several valves can be combined on an SF2000 series manifold with 2 to 14 stations, with supply and exhaust ports in size 1/4.
