Media-separated 2/2-way solenoid valve, NC, brass, G1/4, PN0-10, NBR, direct. 24VDC, med.temp. 0-90, amb.temp. 0-55, mo. connector The 0330 valve is a direct-acting, media-separated rocker solenoid valve. It is available in 3/2-way and 2/2-way versions. The 3/2-way version can be used as a distributing or mixing valve. Different diaphragm materials and operating modes are available depending on the application. The housing is available in brass, stainless steel, and polypropylene. The solenoid coils are encapsulated with a chemically highly resistant epoxy resin. As the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm, the valve is particularly suitable for critical media such as aggressive acids and alkalis. For commissioning and testing purposes, the 0330 is equipped with a manual override. To reduce energy consumption, all coils can be supplied with electronic power reduction or as a pulse version. The switching state can be indicated via position feedback as a binary or NAMUR signal.

About Solenoid valves

Solenoid valves switch a media flow electrically, with no manual intervention at the line. The range covers nominal sizes from DN 1 to DN 66 and operating pressures up to 50 bar, with ports from G 1/8 to G 2. Some versions work from -1 bar upwards, which makes them suitable for vacuum duty.

What matters when choosing

• Function: normally closed (NC), normally open (NO) or any flow direction (BEL). What matters is the state the plant should assume when power is lost.
• Voltage: 12 V DC, 24 V DC, 24 V AC, 110 V AC and 230 V AC, plus 24 V AC/DC and 230 V AC/DC versions. Follow whatever the existing control system supplies.
• Sealing material NBR, FKM, FPM, EPDM, PTFE or FFKM: match the elastomer to the medium and to the media temperature, which runs between -30 and 160 °C depending on version.
• Body material: brass, aluminium, polyamide, glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, polypropylene or stainless steel 1.4301, 1.4401 and 1.4581. Stainless steel is the choice for corrosive media and demanding wash-down regimes.
• Nominal size DN 1 to 66 mm and operating pressure: upper limits run from 1 to 50 bar, and nominal size sets the achievable flow.
