Angled distributor 221, IT/IT/IT, Rp 1/2, Operating temp. -20 °C to 300 °C, black malleable cast iron, Hot-dip galvanised Acc. to DIN EN 10242 (formerly DIN 2950) The classic - and the most popular - screw fitting series for pipe construction. About Elbow connector

The angled distributor to figure 221 brings three female threads together in one corner and replaces the usual combination of elbow and tee at a branch point. The range covers Rp 1/2 to Rp 2 and is stated for operating temperatures from -20 °C to 300 °C.

What matters when choosing

• Thread 1 and thread 2: Rp 1/2, Rp 3/4, Rp 1, Rp 1 1/2 or Rp 2, all female. The nominal size of the connected pipework decides the size.
• Standard thread ISO 7-1: the Rp female thread works against a taper male thread. If the mating part follows a different standard, the joint will not seal.
• Material: black malleable cast iron B350-10, design symbol A. It takes high mechanical load but needs corrosion protection outdoors.
• Temperature: -20 °C to 300 °C is stated for the range. Pipe, sealing compound and mating part have to cover the same window.
• Design: the angled distributor places three ports in one corner. Where a straight run with a branch is needed, a tee belongs in that position.
