About Bulkhead elbow connectors

An angled bulkhead fitting takes a pipe run through a wall and turns it through 90 degrees on the far side, so no straight outlet is needed right behind the feed-through. The 22 items cover tube outside diameters from 6 to 28 mm at PN 160 to 630 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Tube O.D. 6 to 28 mm: the diameter follows the installed pipe, on the bulkhead side as well as on the angled side.
• PN 160 to 630 bar: the light version is rated at 315 bar, or 160 bar on the larger diameters, the heavy version at 630 bar. The design pressure of the line sets the series.
• Material galvanised steel to DIN 2353 or stainless steel 1.4571: stainless where the feed-through is exposed to moisture or aggressive ambient air.
• Spanner sizes SW 1 to SW 3 and the dimensions L1 and L2 are listed per item. L2 shows how far the elbow builds out behind the wall and sets the clearance to the next component.
• The wall thickness at the mounting point has to suit the length of the bulkhead thread so the lock nut seats and the elbow points the intended way.
