Solid rubber workshop hose set »BluBird«, Quick-connect coupling I.D. 7.2, Hose-Ø 20x13, Temperature range -20 to 85°C, Length 20m Highly flexible, silicone-free hose with four-finger plastic handle for compressed air applications in workshop environments (compressed air supply for pneumatic tools, equipment for assembly stations, etc.). Pre-assembled with quick-connect coupling I.D. 7.2. The G 1/2 female thread at the second end of the hose provides various options for selecting the second connection. The uniform fabric insert guarantees high pressure resistance, very good handling, high mechanical strength and excellent bond adhesion. The high UV and ozone resistance also contributes to the longevity and safety of the hose. Resistant to light greases, oil and diesel. The hose is also very light thanks to the mix of solid rubber and fabric inlay. Not suitable for direct mounting on pulsating tools. We recommend the use of our vibration dampers in accordance with ISO 6150, § 7.1.

About Rubber hoses

Rubber hoses carry compressed air wherever a flexible and mechanically loaded run is needed. The range is specified for operating temperatures from -45 °C to 85 °C and therefore stays within its limits in the cold as well. Part of the 32 articles come as complete sets with coupling and connector, the rest as coil stock.

What matters when choosing

• Type of connection: push-button safety coupling NW 7.4 or quick-release coupling NW 7.2, each with a G 1/4, G 3/8 or G 1/2 female connector. The coupling has to match the system already installed on site, otherwise the hose cannot be connected.
• Hose I.D.: the inner diameter sets the flow and decides whether an air tool reaches its rated output. Sizes in the range include 12x6, 15.5x9.5 and 20x13.
• Hose length: sets are made up in 5, 10 and 20 m, alongside 50 m coils for cutting to length in house.
• Operating temperature: -45 °C to 85 °C on part of the range, to be checked against the individual article. The figure matters for outdoor use and unheated halls.
• Operating pressure: articles state the maximum operating pressure at 23 °C, with the workshop hoses rated at 20 bar. Higher temperature reduces the load capacity, so the article data is binding.
