S2V series valve terminal, 8 stations 5/2-way, PROFIBUS DP, G 1/8 side ports on sub-base - E.MC

Instead of wiring each solenoid separately, the terminal joins the PROFIBUS DP network as a single node. It carries 8 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves with about 700 l/min per station and keeps the overall length to 200.5 mm.

Advantages

• Low heat load in the cabinet at 0.8 W per solenoid, with an LED for every switching state.
• Mounts on a DIN rail or with screws and runs on filtered air without a lubricator.
• PROFIBUS DP right on the valve block: bus via M12, B-coded, power via M12, 5-pin, A-coded. The bus module draws less than 50 mA.
• Diagnostics for short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity and under- or overvoltage, with a configurable safe output state on bus failure.
• G 1/8 outlets on the sub-base: hoses stay connected when a valve is replaced.

Applications

• Handling stations and fixtures with eight cylinders supplied from one point.
• Existing PROFIBUS DP installations that are extended with additional pneumatic axes.
• Installation in shallow housings or profile frames where hoses are routed out to the side.
