S2V series valve terminal, 16 stations 5/2-way, EtherCAT, G 1/8 top ports - E.MC

Instead of wiring each solenoid separately, the terminal joins the EtherCAT network as a single node. It carries 16 single-solenoid 5/2-way valves with about 700 l/min per station and keeps the overall length to 328.5 mm.

Advantages

• Low heat load in the cabinet at 0.8 W per solenoid, with an LED for every switching state.
• Mounts on a DIN rail or with screws and runs on filtered air without a lubricator.
• EtherCAT right on the valve block: bus via 2x M12 socket, 4-pin, D-coded, power via M12, 5-pin, A-coded. The bus module draws less than 120 mA.
• Diagnostics for short circuit, wire break, reverse polarity and under- or overvoltage, with a configurable safe output state on bus failure.
• G 1/8 outlets directly on the valves, easy to reach from above, 16 mm pitch.

• Assembly lines and special machines where 16 actuators are fed from one central valve block.
• Plants with a EtherCAT network where the terminal sits on the machine as a separate node.
• Open DIN rail installation where hoses are plugged in and checked from above.
