Valve terminal 2 Series, 14x 5/2-way single solenoid, G 1/8 top-ported, PROFIBUS DP - E.MC

This terminal puts 14 valves straight onto a PROFIBUS DP network, with no output cards and no multipole cable to the cabinet. The bus node sits on the terminal, the 28 G 1/8 outlets are on top of the valves.

Advantages

• Straight onto PROFIBUS DP: bus connection M12, B-coded, power via M12, no output card needed in the controller.
• Ports within easy reach: the G 1/8 outlets sit on top of the valves, easy to get at during commissioning.
• High flow per station: effective area 16.2 mm² (Cv 0.9) on a pitch of only 16 mm.
• Reconfigurable: any station can later take a valve with one or two coils, including 5/3-way or 2x 3/2-way functions.
• Long service life: at least 40 million cycles, aluminium body and spool, NBR seals.

Applications

• Layouts with little room to the side, where the tubes leave upwards
• Multi-axis sequences with up to 14 cylinders supplied centrally from one valve terminal
• Assembly and packaging machines with mid-size cylinders that need more flow per valve
• Decentralised valve terminals right at the machine, integrated into an existing PROFIBUS DP network
