Corner safety valve, for compressed air and non-flammable gases, G 1/2", DN 10, 4.0 bar, gunmetal

Every compressed air receiver has to be protected against inadmissible overpressure. This corner safety valve opens at 4.0 bar and blows off 81 m³/h without any control system taking action. The connection is G 1/2" and the nominal size DN 10. A gunmetal body and a seal of FKM allow temperatures of -20 to +200 °C. The height above the connecting face is 70 mm.

Pressure vessels in plant engineering with nominal size DN 10. Protection of headers with a discharge capacity of 81 m³/h. Test rigs and experimental setups limited to 4.0 bar. Installation in tight spaces where the corner design with 26 mm face-to-centre length saves room.

Standards and conformity

The valve is type tested and carries the component identification TÜV-SV...-312.10.D/G.0,28 CE0036 4 bar. It is supplied with a fixed setting only, so the set pressure of 4.0 bar cannot be altered. A setting certificate to 3.1 is available on request.
