About Distribution forms

Distributor bodies split a line into two or more outlets without stacking several fittings in a row. Depending on the version the stated operating pressure is 12 to 60 bar, with ports from M5 up to G 1/2. The group holds 39 items, from compact two-way distributors to flangeable cross distributors.

What matters when choosing

• Thread 1: the inlet comes as M5, G 1/8, G 1/4, G 3/8 or G 1/2 female and is sized by the supply line.
• Thread 2: outlets are available as female and as male threads from M5 to G 3/8. A male outlet saves a nipple where a fitting follows directly.
• Max. operating pressure: ratings run from 12 to 60 bar. Shop air is covered by the lower end, while hydraulic and test duties call for the higher values.
• Material: nickel-plated or bare brass. The plated version is the usual pick where moisture or frequent cleaning is involved.
• Body style: alongside the straight two-way distributors there are flangeable cross distributors that can be bolted to the machine frame.
