About 45° elbow connectors

45° push-in connectors join a plug nipple to a tube and turn the line through half a right angle. The shallow angle leads the tube away from the valve with a larger bend radius than a 90° elbow, while still saving space compared with the straight version. The group works with tube outside diameters from 4 to 12 mm up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• For tube O.D.: 4 to 12 mm. The figure refers to the outside diameter of the tube gripped by the collet.
• Plug nipple: the nipple size is stated separately from the tube size and may differ, for example a 6 mm nipple on a 4 mm tube. The nipple has to suit the port in the valve or manifold.
• Working pressure: -0.95 bar to 10 bar. That makes the connector usable for compressed air and for vacuum runs alike.
• Material and seal: plastic or nickel plated brass with an NBR seal. The range is designed for the medium compressed air in combination with plastic tubing and plastic pipe.
• Series: Blue Series throughout, which keeps collet ring and push-in dimension consistent across the whole installation.
