Plug-in reducer »NonPlusUltra«, nipple 12 mm, Ø 8 mm, FPM (FDA), p = -0,99…25 bar, T = -20…150 °C, 1.4404, PU 10pcs. The NonPlusUltra series combines excellent material quality with the best workmanship. All components are characterized by maximum tightness and optimized flow. Made entirely of corrosion-free and acid-resistant stainless steel with a surface roughness (Ra) < 0.8, they are extremely robust and easy to clean (can also be sterilized). Movable fittings are suitable for continuous movement due to a special swivel mechanism. The stainless steel unions have a wide range of applications, for example in process engineering, food and pharmaceutical industries, water-cooling, lubrication, gases, vacuum and clean room (suitable cleaning of the parts is the responsibility of the user). They are ideal for use in conjunction with our PUR hoses for food contact (FDA). Available on request with EPDM seals, EPDM seals with drinking water approval, suitable for cleanroom class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and with colored ceramic coding.

About Plug-in reducers

A plug-in reducer carries a push-in nipple on one side and a push-in port on the other, which changes the line size without replacing the existing fitting. It is simply pushed into the fitting already installed and takes the thinner tube there. The range is made entirely of stainless steel 1.4404 and covers tube outside diameters from 4 to 8 mm.

What matters when choosing

• For tube O.D.: the push-in side takes 4, 6 and 8 mm, the nipple side is available in 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. Both figures have to match the existing line, otherwise the size is reduced twice in a row.
• Material: stainless steel 1.4404 throughout. The product text describes a corrosion free and acid resistant design, which allows use in wet areas and with chemical cleaning.
• Sealing material: FKM, FPM in FDA compliant quality. This seal also covers oil and grease as a medium.
• Medium: compressed air, neutral gases and liquids as well as oil and grease are stated. Anything beyond that calls for a compatibility check first.
• Temperature and pressure: operating and medium temperature are both -20 °C to 150 °C, the pressure range in the product text is -0.99 to 25 bar. Vacuum lines are therefore covered as well.
