About Boxed sets

An assortment box holds the most common small parts of a range in a plastic case with separate compartments, so push-in fittings or brass turned parts are at hand right at the assembly bench. Instead of many single orders, one box covers the usual thread and hose combinations of a series. Contents range from 12 to 31 different items, rated for working pressures up to 16 or 25 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Series: boxes are available for the Blue series, for click-clock and for universal short. What matters is which series is already installed, because only then does the content match the existing stock.
• Material: available as plastic or nickel-plated brass, as nickel-plated brass, as brass CW614N and as electroplated nickel-plated brass CW614N. The brass versions are the heavier option and take higher mechanical loads.
• Max. working pressure: 16 or 25 bar depending on the contents. The boxes with brass turned parts sit at the top of that range, which decides the choice on systems with higher line pressure.
• Medium: some contents are listed for compressed air only, others for compressed air and water. Anyone stocking water lines has to check this figure.
• Operating temperature: the lower limit is -20 °C, the upper limit runs from 80 to 150 °C depending on the item. Warm environments therefore narrow the choice to the boxes rated accordingly.
