Quick-connect coupling I.D. 10, galvanised steel / brass, Robust design, G 3/8 IT, Operating pressure max. 16 bar One-hand quick disconnect couplings, one side sealing, that combine optimal flow rates (approx. 4 times as high as the popular standard coupling DN 7.2) with minimal coupling forces. Suitable for all applications with an above-average air requirement and characterised by extreme conditions!

About Robust couplings (high-performance couplings)
These heavy-duty quick-connect couplings are made for compressed air lines under hard service. They couple with one hand and shut off on one side when disconnected. The range works at operating pressures up to 35 bar and covers connections from G 1/4 to G 3/4.
What matters when choosing
- Connection: female threads G 1/4 to G 3/4, male threads G 1/4 to G 3/4 and R 1/4 to R 3/4. Size should follow the flow required, not only the port already fitted.
- Operating pressure: versions cover 16 to 35 bar and work from 0 bar upwards.
- Housing material: zinc-plated steel for general workshop duty, plain or nickel-plated brass where corrosion is a factor, stainless steel 1.4305 for hygienic or chemically demanding surroundings.
- Seal: NBR as standard, FKM where oils or medium temperatures up to 200 °C occur.
- Overall length from 54 to 114 mm: this matters as soon as the coupling is built into an air treatment unit, a bracket or a tool holder.
Typical applications
- Air supply to hand tools with high consumption such as impact wrenches and grinders.
- Tool change stations in production where couplings are operated several times per shift.
- Test and filling rigs running above the usual mains pressure.
- Vehicle and workshop service where a zinc-plated steel housing is required against corrosion.
- Applications with raised medium temperature, using the version with FKM seal.
Housings are available in zinc-plated steel, stainless steel 1.4305 and in plain or nickel-plated brass, sealed with NBR or FKM. Production is in Germany and Turkey.
