The rapid stroke of a large press cannot be covered by the pump, since drive power and line sizes would be unaffordable. Instead this valve fills the cylinder directly from the elevated reservoir and passes up to 6700 l/min while doing so.

Applications

The valve is fitted into hydraulic presses, forging lines and sheet forming machines with an elevated reservoir. During the rapid stroke it opens and lets the cylinder draw oil, during the pressing phase it closes tightly. Since this version has no pre-decompression, the circuit has to control pressure release itself.
