Compact, space-saving, lightweight design. An O-ring in the fillet at the end of the thread guarantees a tight connection for all male thread parts, even on rough surfaces. Only recommended for use in combination with quick-connect fittings of the »value line«series. The suitability test for use with other series is the responsibility of the user.

About Reducers

A reducer joins two different push-in sizes so a thinner tube can be connected to a larger line without replacing the whole run of pipework. The group covers tube outside diameters from 5 to 28 mm and works between -0.98 and 16 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Tube O.D. 5 to 28 mm on the push-in side and for tube O.D. 4 to 8 mm on the outlet side: both sizes have to match the existing lines, and the smaller cross section limits the flow.
• Series speedfit or value line: the series sets the design and how well the part combines with the other push-in fittings in the system.
• Material acetal polymer (POM) or nickel-plated brass: brass for a small, space-saving build at mechanically loaded points, POM for light connections with high impact strength.
• Working pressure from -0.98 or -0.95 bar up to 10 or 16 bar: the lower limit in the vacuum range allows use in suction lines, the upper limit differs per item and has to stay above the system pressure.
• Operating temperature -20 °C to 80 °C on the compressed air versions with their silicone-free NBR seal.
