Description
The reducing nipple is used to connect valves, hoses and devices to a socket. The material used is brass. The male thread G 1/4" and the female thread G 1/8" accept the mating part. The nominal pressure is 100 bar.
Benefits
- At 8 mm the overall length is defined in the data sheet and can be planned in advance.
- 2 male threads on one piece save an additional fitting in the line.
- The hexagon in the middle transfers the tightening torque to both of the 2 threaded sides.
- Brass does not form any scale and stays free moving on the G 1/4" thread even after years.
Applications
Connection of sockets and valves, connection of devices, maintenance on pipe networks. Brass is used in device engineering, in workshops and in water installation.
