Hydraulic breakers and rock crushers load every coupling point with pressure and impact at the same time. The Nitto Kohki 700R Cupla works up to 68.6 MPa (700 kgf/cm², 686 bar) and is held by a ring-lock system in the sleeve.

All series in this group are two-way shut-off, so the pressure class and the available sizes 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch decide the choice. Where impulse pressure occurs in the line, 700R CUPLA must not be used.

Compatibility

Different sizes are not interchangeable. When coupled, fluid may flow in either direction, and the connection is operational in vacuum down to 1.3 Pa.

Standards and compliance

End sizes are 3/8" and 1/2", maximum tightening torques are 40 Nm at 3/8" and 85 Nm at 1/2", and the body material is nickel-plated special steel.
