About Propane technology

This propane range covers handles, burner inserts, soldering irons, propane hoses and complete preheating sets for work with liquefied gas. Depending on the part, the stated maximum operating pressure is between 1.5 and 10 bar. The 42 items can be combined into a full torch assembly or ordered individually as spare parts.

What matters when choosing

• Thread: handles and burner parts connect via M14x1.0, M15x1.0 or M20x1.0, while the hose side uses G 3/8 LH. What decides the choice is the mating thread of the equipment already in use.
• Max. operating pressure: values range from 1.5 to 10 bar and must match the setting range of the pressure regulator in use.
• Diameter: burner heads and inserts range from 14 to 63 mm. Larger heads heat a wider area, smaller ones work in a more confined spot.
• Length: connecting tubes are available from 100 to 750 mm. Pick the length by the working distance you want to keep from the workpiece.
• Material: handles come in plastic and wood, gas-carrying parts in brass, steel, CrNi steel and copper. Soldering irons use hammered copper.

• Preheating workpieces before welding or straightening in metal fabrication and locksmith shops
• Soft soldering with hammered copper in plumbing and sheet metal work
• Mobile preheating and soldering straight off the propane cylinder where no mains supply is available
• Replacing single handles, hoses or burner inserts on existing propane torches
• Equipping workshop stations with a preheating set including pressure regulator and safety device

Part of the range is built to EN ISO 9012, and the propane hoses comply with EN ISO 16436 across a temperature range of -30 °C to 70 °C. Production takes place in Turkey, Italy and China.
