Large chamfers on plate and steel structures normally call for a milling machine, which means transport and clamping. The portable beveler brings a chamfer capacity of up to 15C to the part and works with a chamfer angle adjustable from 15 to 45 degrees.

Operating principle

The electric motor drives a cutter head fitted with indexable inserts. The machine rests on the workpiece with its guide and is pushed along the edge, with chamfer size and angle set beforehand.
