Polyethylene tubing, LD-PE material, 8 x 6 mm, blue, roll of 100 m

Once installed, the polyethylene tubing carries compressed air, water and aqueous media in light lines of low weight. This version is listed with outside by inside diameter 8 x 6 mm, colour blue and supply form roll of 100 m. The stated figure is a working pressure of 8 bar.

Benefits

• The 8 x 6 mm tubing carries 8 bar at a low weight.
• The minimum bending radius of 40 mm applies to permanent installation.
• LD-PE resists water, acids and alkalis and is suitable for drag chains.
• The colour blue identifies the circuit, the natural raw material is FDA compliant.
• The temperature range runs from -10 to +60 °C at a Shore hardness of 45 D.

Applications

In chemical engineering the resistance of LD-PE is used for aqueous media at 8 bar.
