Lubricator »SYNTESI«, size 1, G 1/8, p1 max. = 15 bar, T = -10 … 50 °C The pneumatic lubricator is the simplest way of efficiently lubricating the actuators linked to a circuit. As compressed air flows towards the lubricator, it encounters a flexible diaphragm which partially blocks the way, creating a small pressure difference between the inlet and outlet air. Being at the higher pressure, the oil in the bowl is pumped through a tube with a filter towards the regulation pin. The quantity of oil can be metered accurately since the drops can be viewed through the transparent dome. Filling with oil must take place in the absence of pressure, unscrewing the plug next to the dome. On the front and back there is a port (G 1/8 for size 1 and G 1/4 for size 2) that can be used with pressure switches or as an additional air intake. The connection of pressure gauges is not recommended ATEX version on request!

About Oilers

A lubricator adds a metered amount of oil to the compressed air so that cylinders, valves and air tools stay lubricated. It sits at the end of the FRL assembly behind filter and regulator and accepts inlet pressures up to 25 bar. Flow ranges from 650 to 19000 l/min, which covers single tools as well as whole distribution lines.

What matters when choosing

• Size sets the throughput. The range runs from BG 0 to BG 600 with port threads from G 1/8 to G 1 1/2.
• Flow of 650 to 19000 l/min has to match the air demand of the connected equipment. A lubricator chosen too small becomes the bottleneck for the whole line.
• The unit should fit the FRL assembly already installed. Available series include Standard, multifix, FUTURA, SYNTESI, GA and variobloc, plus the mini versions of each.
• Housings come in zinc die-cast, aluminium die-cast and aluminium as well as in technopolymer and PA66 GF60. Installation position and mechanical load decide the choice.
• Medium temperature runs from -10 °C to 80 °C depending on version, with nominal sizes between DN 5 and DN 45.
