About Bulkhead connectors, elbow type

Push-in bulkhead L-connectors take a compressed air line through a wall or control panel and turn it through 90° behind it. The tube is pushed in without tools and released again via the collet ring. The group covers tube outside diameters from 3 to 16 mm at a working pressure up to 10 bar.

What matters when choosing

• For tube O.D.: 3 to 16 mm. The collet grips the outside diameter of the tube, so this dimension decides, not the clear bore.
• Series: Blue Series or Blue Series mini. The mini range is shorter and is chosen where there is little room behind the wall for the elbow.
• Thread: M8x0.75, M10x1.0 or M12x1.0 male. The panel thread has to suit both the bore and the wall thickness, otherwise not enough thread is left for the lock nut.
• Working pressure: -0.95 bar to 10 bar. The negative figure shows the connector also works under vacuum, for example on suction cups.
• Material and seal: plastic or nickel plated brass with an NBR seal, released for the medium compressed air. Oils and solvents are outside that scope.

All 9 items are made of plastic or nickel plated brass and sealed with NBR. Production is in China.
