About Compact stopper cylinders

Stopper cylinders hold workpieces or pallets on a conveyor until the next cycle releases them. The group covers piston Ø 20 to 80 mm with strokes of 15 to 40 mm at up to 10 bar, ported M5 or G 1/8. The compact body is made for the limited space below the conveying line.

What matters when choosing

• Piston Ø 20 to 80 mm sets the stopping force. Heavy pallets and higher approach speeds call for the larger bore.
• Stroke of 15 to 40 mm defines how far the stop rises above the conveying line and how far it retracts to release.
• Roller or trunnion version: the roller lets the incoming part roll off and protects the contact face, the trunnion gives a hard, defined stop.
• Built to UNITOP or to ISO 15552. That choice governs mounting pattern and accessories and should match the cylinders already installed.
• Single-acting or double-acting with spring assistance, together with a min. set pressure of 0.5 to 1.2 bar. Where control pressure is low, that figure decides.
