About Mini pressure regulators and function connectors

Miniature pressure regulators and function fittings are installed straight into the air line and handle regulating, switching and throttling duties there, without needing a mounting plate of their own. The control range covers 0 to 8 bar and flow rates run from 50 to 850 Nl/min.

What matters when choosing

• The thread decides where the part sits. M5, G 1/8, G 1/4 and G 3/8 male threads are available.
• For the regulators the deciding figures are the 0 to 8 bar control range and the 10 bar maximum inlet pressure. The secondary pressure should be set in the middle of the scale rather than at its limit.
• Flow rates cover 50 to 850 Nl/min. Short cylinder cycles or longer pipe runs should be planned around the upper half of that range.
• Maximum operating pressure is between 7 and 12 bar depending on the version. Networks running permanently close to 8 bar rule out the types limited to 7 bar.
• Electrically actuated versions run on 24 V DC. Versions with an indicator cover a measuring range up to 12 bar.

• Reducing pressure at individual cylinders when only one branch has to run at a lower level
• Setting actuator speed directly at the cylinder or valve port
• Retrofitting existing lines where there is no room for a full air preparation unit
• Handling and gripping equipment where clamping force is limited through pressure
