About Cable ties

Cable ties keep cables, hoses and wire bundles permanently in place and are tightened without a tool. The ties in this group are made of polyamide 6.6 and are rated for operating temperatures from -45 °C to 85 °C. They are supplied in packs of 100 pieces.

What matters when choosing

• Band width 2.5 mm, 3.6 mm or 4.8 mm: the wider band takes more tensile load and spreads the pressure on heavy bundles.
• Band length 100 to 300 mm has to suit the bundle diameter, an over-long band only leaves a tail that has to be cut off.
• Max. bundle diameter is the actual selection criterion when hose packages or wire looms are tied.
• Colour black or natural: the black version contains carbon black and stands up better to UV radiation, natural is intended for indoor use.
• Max. operating temperature 85 °C should be checked on warm components such as compressors or dryers.
