Carriage bolt DIN 603 with square neck, M 6x80, stainless steel A2 (without nut)

Once installed, the carriage bolt joins two parts with a flat head that hardly protrudes and locks itself against turning through the square neck. It is supplied with thread M 6 and length 80 mm. It is produced from stainless steel A2 (without nut).

• Thread M 6 at a length of 80 mm, the thread length is 18 mm.
• Flat head 16 mm across and only 3.5 mm high, so the bearing area stays large and the head hardly protrudes.
• Square 6 mm under the head, it engages in the hole and holds the bolt while it is tightened.
• The matching hexagon nut has a width across flats of 10 mm to DIN and 10 mm to ISO 8677.
• Made of stainless steel A2 (without nut) to DIN 603.

Applications

In timber and steel construction the M 6x80 bolt pulls the plate against the timber and the flat head stays almost flush.

The widths across flats to DIN and to ISO 8677 are given separately because they can differ from M 6 upwards.
