About Detachable double nipples

Removable double threaded nipples join two connections and can be undone later without turning or dismantling the pipe run. The series holds 105 items with threads from G 1/4 female to G 2 female and a maximum working pressure of 10 to 25 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Thread 1 runs from G 1/4 female to G 2 female, or Rp 1/4 to Rp 2, and follows the fixed port on the component.
• Thread 2 defines the body style. R 1/4 male to R 2 male gives a female to male transition, a second female thread joins two nipples together.
• The thread standard is DIN EN ISO 228-1 or ISO 7-1. Parallel threads seal flat on the shoulder, tapered threads seal in the thread itself, so the mating part decides.
• Maximum working pressure lies between 10 and 25 bar. Check it against the line pressure before fixing the size.
• Material and seal set the temperature range. The catalogue lists brass CW614N, electroplated nickel-plated brass CW614N and PTFE, with the seal made of PTFE.
