Electric needle scaler EJC-32A 115V - Nitto Kohki 65200101

Where no compressed air line is available, this needle scaler runs off mains power at 110 V AC 60 Hz or 220 V AC 50 Hz with a stroke rate of 3.000 min-1. Rust, mill scale, weld slag and aged coatings are removed by a needle set that follows the contour of the workpiece.

• Mains operation at 110 V AC 60 Hz or 220 V AC 50 Hz removes the need for a compressor and hose line.
• A stroke rate of 3.000 min-1 keeps removal of rust, mill scale and weld slag steady.
• The needle set can be changed between 32 needles of 2 mm and 15 needles of 3 mm diameter to suit the removal rate required.
• Replacement needles come in 150, 180, 300, 500 and 800 mm lengths, which keeps deep recesses within reach.
• Needle supporters for 2 and 3 mm plus a 6 mm hex key are part of the accessory range, so needle changes need no special tools.
• An operating weight of 4,5 kg supports even contact pressure across longer surfaces.

Operating principle

An electrically driven striking mechanism acts on a bundle of loose needles at 3.000 min-1. Each needle transmits the blow individually, so the bundle follows the shape of the workpiece.
