Pressure switch »SYNTESI«, BG 1, G 3/8, M8, 300 mm cable, adjustment range = 0.5 … 10 bar, p1 = max. 15 bar, T = -10 … 50°C Syntesi pressure switches feature a high degree of miniaturisation and a modern attractive design. As modular components in the Syntesi range, they can be installed either facing up or down. They come ready assembled with a 2 metre cable or an M8 connector with a 300 mm cable. The contact is the switching type, which means it can be used as a normally open or normally closed contact. It can be regulated via a knurled push-lock handle. On the front and back there is a port (G 1/8 for size 1 and G 1/4 for size 2) that can be used with pressure gauges, pressure switches or as an additional air outlet. ATEX version on request!

About System extensions

System extensions add functions to an existing air preparation unit that filters and regulators do not cover, for example an electrically actuated switching valve that turns plant sections on and off and exhausts them when switched off. The 233 items cover threads from G 1/8 to G 1 and run on an inlet pressure of 9 to 16 bar maximum.

What matters when choosing

• Frame size and thread have to match the existing unit. The range documents G 1/8 to G 1 plus size designations from 0 to 600.
• The series decides whether a module can be added to the assembly. Available lines include FUTURA and FUTURA-mini, SYNTESI, multifix and multifix-mini, variobloc as well as G, G-mini and GA-mini. A module only fits the line it was designed for.
• Choose flow rate from the air demand of the installation rather than from the thread alone. Documented values run from 1400 to 18000 l/min.
• Compare the maximum inlet pressure of 9 to 16 bar against your line pressure. Individual modules are rated for an operating pressure of up to 25 bar.
• Select the housing to suit the environment and the mechanical load. Documented materials are PA66 GF60 and technopolymer, die-cast aluminium and zinc, aluminium and nickel-plated brass.
