Pressure booster 1.8x, piston Ø 50 mm, G1/4, basic version - Airtec 90-PB-050-18-0

The Airtec 90-PB-050-18-0 raises the pressure at individual consumers above line pressure without a second compressor. As a double-piston pressure intensifier with two coupled chambers, it starts automatically when inlet pressure is applied, and an integrated valve system feeds the chambers alternately. Once outlet pressure is reached the booster stops, restarting automatically when pressure drops.

Benefits

• No external power: the booster runs on the supplied compressed air alone.
• Automatic top-up: stops when outlet pressure is reached, restarts when pressure drops.

Applications

Individual cylinders, clamping fixtures or test stations that briefly need more pressure than the line supplies. The inlet hose should have an inside diameter 2 mm larger than the outlet hose. The booster is not suitable as a compressor replacement.
