Sealing washer, D 160 mm, PTFE (white), spare part for pipe unions

The sealing washer restores the sealing effect of a fitting without replacing the coupling itself. The diameter D is stated as 160 mm. The component is made of PTFE (white).

Benefits

• PTFE (white) adapts to the sealing face and compensates for small irregularities at 160 mm diameter D.
• At 160 mm the diameter D is defined in the data sheet and can be planned in advance.
• Replacing 1 sealing element saves replacing the complete fitting.
• The spare part fits the existing joint, 1 work step is enough and no conversion is needed.

Applications

Maintenance of releasable pipe connections, servicing of couplings, spare part stock. The sealing material suits replacement within the scope of planned maintenance.

Standards and conformity

The materials comply with the regulations FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 and (EC) 1935/2004.
