About Pipe connectors

Pipe connectors hold plastic pipe in the line without tools, the pipe is pushed in and stays put. Working pressure reaches 20 bar depending on the type, and under vacuum the connectors work down to -0.95 bar.

What matters when choosing

• Material governs media compatibility and price. POM and polypropylene, including the glass-fibre reinforced grade, cover standard duties, while brass is the metal alternative.
• Threaded transitions run from G 1/8 to G 1 1/2 male. Female G 1/2 and G 3/4 are available as well, plus tapered versions from R 1/2 to R 1 male.
• Maximum working pressure sits between 10 and 20 bar depending on type and has to be checked against the highest pressure the line can reach.
• Operating temperature starts between -20 °C and 0 °C and ends between 20 °C and 65 °C. Unheated areas and warm media make the limit of the specific type the deciding figure.
• Overall length ranges from 24.8 to 191 mm, which matters in tight installation spaces and when pipe sections are being planned.
