Collar drill bushing form A to DIN 172, bore 28.5 x 45 mm, collar 46 mm, case-hardening steel

Made for holes of 28.5 mm, this bushing guides the tool over 45 mm. The medium series combines a press fit of 42 mm outside diameter with a 46 mm collar that holds the bushing in the plate.

Applications

It is typically fitted into the drill plates of jigs in mechanical engineering, contract manufacturing and mould making, where the same 28.5 mm hole is produced again and again in the same place.

Standard and material

The basis is DIN 172, form A, with a guiding bore of 28.5 mm. In form A the bore is rounded only on the side of the collar. The material is case-hardening steel, hardened to 740 ± 80 HV 10 and ground afterwards.
